Need to go to W. Palm Beach area at the end of April, and really want to fly Independence Air to try them out. What is the experience like on their 319s? How are the seats/pitch, inflight service? Thanks.

All planes are brand-spankin' new with electric blue leather seating. Leg room is generous but even more in exit row (row 10). The seats are VERY comfortable, as I just came off an NK MD80 and found a re-newed appreciation for those "I" seats. You'll get the usual round of drink/food. F/A's will come around a take drink orders. We serve Caribou coffee and Arizona Iced Tea in addition to the usual. Then the basket of either sunchips, vanilla cookies, pretzels (for traditionalists ), or nutrigrain bars. Usually a repeat of this service comes through. At the end you will get hot towels and the little flyi mints. The planes seriously appear just as they are: brand-freakin'-new.

Thanks for the info! DH must be doing great out of GSP (or into PBI), because their fares are a bit higher than Delta's. I still want to fly Independence. I'll have to convince my Significant Other, though....
