Upgrading Using AC's Aeroplan Certs.

I am flying YYZ-FRA and MUC-YYZ in 2 weeks. I am booked on H class fare ( I assume this is a discounted fare). What are my chances of using my upgrade certificates I received b/c I am an Aeroplan prestige member even though they say you must have a Y or M class fare.
