On September the 22nd I was booked on OS 441 from Vienna via Luxemburg to Strassburg. Sheduled aircraft was a CRJ. When we arrived by bus at the plane i recognized it was OE-LCK, one of the few still left in Tyrolean colours.

I managed to get into the plane as second passenger and asked the flight attendand if she could ask the captain if it might be possible to have a ride on the jumpseat. She answered "Ok I will ask him please have a seat". So I took place on 14F which i had reserved a few weeks before by phone.
Shortly before taxiing the FA came back and told me that the captain would like to come out of Vienna as fast as possible but that I could come forward later on.
Our takeoff was on time and was from Rwy 29. A view out of the window after we had taken off

After about 20 minutes the FA came back and asked me to come forwards  Smile

Our flight was routed via Linz, Nueremberg, Wuerzbuerg, Frankfurt directly to Luxemburg. Flight crew was very friendly and we chatted a lot. Above FRA we had a Lufthansa B735 crossinng our path. I tried to make a Air 2 Air photo but failed miserably.  Wow!
The the captain showed the Head Up guidance system to me

Pilot in command was the first officer and he decided to do a visual approach into Luxemburg. Here we are on our final turn to the right.

and the runway in sight. I know the photo is far below a.net standards but I show it anyways. Runway 06 in Luxemburg

Note the hump in the runway.  Wow!
The flight was fully packed from VIE to LUX, only 8 passengers continued onwards to SXB. Plus 6 new pax booked for the return flight to Vienna.

After only 20 minutes on the ground including cabin cleaning and refueling we left again. Our Runway was 06 and after a turn towards the south and a smooth flight across the Vogesen we where established on ILS 05 in Strassburg.

.
On Block in Strassbourg was 2 minutes ahead of shedule, but then we had to wait about 10 minutes for our bus to come Sad
All in all a very nice flight with a great crew. Thanks for allowing me into the Cockpit to them, and thanks for reading this to the forum members.
