As we arrived at FRA we went straight to LH Biz Lounge. We had checked in the day before , so no need to recheck. LH lounge was as usual very full with nothing special. Didn't make any pic's tough. After a short wait we went to the gate. Notice the date 22 July ! One day after the second attempt to Bomb London .
This foto was in the last trip report. CAI First Class lounge at the 21 , you can clearley see the breaking news on CNN on the TV.
So i was not to surprised to find another extra chekurity check. For the people that visited FRA before , a small part of the Terminal was closed behind the second check. Behind that check there were only 3 flights , LH to TLV and LHR and some other Airline to somewhere in Britain. So here we got checked again. Then we boarded our A300. My first flight infront was beginning now !!!
The C-Class seats are the same as the ECO ones. However only 2-2-2 are booked , so either window or aisle seat. The middle section had also the "handrest" moved , so that a maximum of only 3 people could sit . we got the second row in the full aircaft.
Before takeoff the F/A came and gave us drinks. She also gave us some magazines. I asked for a car magazine , but she couldn't find one. She looked in the galley and then said none were available and apologiezed. I juts took a Focus. Gooood !
The A300 took off in the cloudy weather. Here i noticed something at cruise. The aircaft was quite loud . However this sound seemed to be the wind and not the engines. As there is no IFE whatsoever i just read my Focus.
Soon we were served food.
The flightattend came to me again and apologized for the smowl bowl with the read stuff. It was shaken at start and so not in original form. Was something with Vinegar and for me, a vinegar lover didn't matter much. The dessert was quite nice , this yellow is mango. The only chiche was meat , that tasted perfect. Way to go LH. Good
A slow eater as i am , i was the last one to finish eating in the cabin . We soon began landing in LHR. View a abselot Zero. Soon we were at the gate and went off. Biz clas had priority deboarding so we got out fast. LHR was as usual. My second time there, and i was clearly dissapointed. The ceiling is so low and it is very .
What disturbed me most was that after we got our bags and were going out I was randomly took by an officer aside and checked alone. Please i was 14 then! The usual Stuff , CAM , belt off , shoes off bags open .... That really pissed me off. I won't comment on that any more.
Finally we went outside to british soul and went straight to Avis to rent this

Here i noticed one last thing , another first. Between the Avis store and the runway was only a wall. Behind it many 747's were starting periodicly. Wonderful sound in this bad british weather. They go slowly and then they just sparkle power. Wished i could spend some more time there.
That is it , another lovely flight with the Kranich.

05/10 for LHR (0/5 for LHR , 5/5 for Traffic)
06/10 for seat (4/5 for leather seat with enough pitch , 2/5 for Focus as only IFE)
39/50 = 8/10 again !
Way to go LH ! Again a very wonderful trip . I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did and now leave comments and questions.
Nice car ! I had the very same model rented from AVIS returning it on 15-JUL-2005 into STN.
The reg plate looks somehow familiar to me. I´ll have to check my paper records at home !

Maybe to make it a bit easier for you , Our car was a petrol. I think it was 1,6 .
We returned it in LTN on the 29.7.2005 .
