I'm traveling to San Juan in May and I will be taking a 7:45am flight on a 737-800 and coming back as well a 7:15am on a 737-800, if anyone has had any experience on this flight, or could tell me about CO 737-800 and what to expect ,for the in-flight meal.
and the crews, it will be greatly appreciated.

Hope you have a wonderfull trip and a great stay in Puerto Rico . WOW you chose a bad month to travel to Puerto Rico as in some days in May commotion will rule the airport . If you are travelling during the days of May1,-May11 all of the Miss Universe people will be arriving during those days and the airport is going to be very full . Then on May 17 or May 18 the infamous boy band Backstreet Boys arrives the island and you know that those girls can make a mess when those guys get to a place . Bu t you will be fine and you might get confussed in the airport as the Continental Airlines baggage claim is very confusing .

Yes Cactus the Miss Universe pageant will be held in Bayamon,Puerto Rico this year . It will be May 11.2001. And yes the airport in San Juan is always messed up especially Terminal B the best area of the airport is the AA terminal.

Anyway the prices for that thing are prohibitive . All the tix are over 175 dollars. On the funny side apparently Miss Israel already knows that Bayamon is apparently a big crime infested town as she will be wearing a Bulletproof vest to the pageant. I hope that during this period of more than usual turism we will see more traffic at the airport.

Oh I was just hoping to see them at the airport!!! Miss Israel wearing a bulletproof vest in Bayamon? That's some BS...The projects there are safer than where she is from! Bayamon isn't that bad, there are worse places in the Metro area. To keep this airline related, my guess is that you'll see some nice charter action at SJU around that time, and probably a lot of private jets. Did the airport get anything special during the Rangers-Blue Jays game early this month?

Can you believe it the majority of the baseball players came in normal AA and Continental flights. That really surprised me. Most probably during Miss Universe AA will increase more frequencies to Miami,New York and Chicago these in particular as the people from different parts of the world can connect easily through those AA hubs . They are getting everything very pretty for this special event.

Continental's 737-800's are wonderful airplanes. They are very modern with wider seats and huge overhead bins. The best seats to look for are row 14 abcdef and row 5 abcdef. Row 14 is the exit row and 5 is the bulkhead. The breakfast meal will be a choice of cold cereal with a muffin and banana or an cheese omlette with a muffin and banana. Please check in at least 2 hours early as EWR is a zoo in the morning. Also get there early to get the best seats! You'll probally notice that this plane will be the cleanest one you have ever been on!
