Last Saturday, I kicked off my spring vacation by flying down to Florida on Midway. Naturally, leaving from Newark, and being in a rush left me with a 2 hour delayed flight (rain at EWR). Like the man on the loudspeaker said "Remember, this is Newark, things don't get better here, only worse". Finally, we left, and i was in the comfort of a neat leather seat for the first leg of my journey on an F100. By the time we got to RDU, the connections were gone (couldn't hold crews over), so they made a special flight (9028 was the number i believe). I got to use one of my 1st class vouchers, and to my surprise, I was in 1st class on a just about brand-new "73G". Since all the Florida connections left, we had to stop in Orlando and FTL (i think that's fort lauderdale). Nevertheless, we still got all the perks of first class. They even arranged transportation for us to get to PBI (at 0300, which was no one's fault). After a week cruisin' the Caribbean, I returned to EWR on (i believe) N104ML, this plane: Click for large version

first class all the way; hot towels, good beverages (i liked the Coke ), good mints, and even a good light lunch. All in all, i would recommend Midway for anyone. It feels a lot friendlier than the big airlines.
