Some of you might call this the most ludicrous trip ever, but I can't wait!
I finally decided to redeem some of the hard earned BA miles and treat myself to a round the world trip.
I've always wanted to leave my house and turn left and come back from the right and that's exactly what I will do in April.
The LHR-LAX-MEL is in business (with a 4day stop in LA), the rest in economy.
The beauty of it is: a BA 744, a QF 744, a QF 763, a QF 738, a QF 333 an a BA 744 again.
Any tips for check-in, seating (particularly LAX, is there a lounge, shops, anything good, when should i get there?) tips you have, please feel free...
Oh and which is the best lounge in HKG again? Is there a First class lounge I can acces with my gold card?

Try to find a lounge in LAX if you can get access to one, TBIT is rather uncomfortable in front of security and in most of the other terminals, nothing is reachable unless you go through security, which you won't be able to do.

I actually have a Gold BA Executive Club card. Does that give me access to anything nice at LAX?
I've heard that TBIT is horrible, but where should I go before/afer check-in to spend some time before my flight?
