Today was an awsome flight. We left JFK for the circle flight at about 0945 local. We were supposed to fly around Manhattan but due to low celing we wer not able to so we did a low fly-by on Rnwy 22 (not sure L or R, I know i should know better I work there). THen we climbed to about 10,000 and gave cockpit tours to the children from Beth Isreal Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House. We stayed up there for about an hour. We landed on the same Rnwy 22 and as we taxied down KK we got the water cannon salute from the Port Authority. We pulled back into Gate 3 and enjoyed some refreshments courtesy of Starbucks, and reboarded for the flight to BOS at about 1230 local. We pushed quickly (one of my friends had the honor to be the pusher). Once airbore they gave us another opportunity to see in the cockpit while in-flight (we were still climbing too). The flight to BOS was about 45 min long. The new Delta terminal was awesome. So nice and new made me proud to work for Delta. The most amazing part was that the gate that I caught the shuttle back to LGA from had the most amazing view of the Spirit. What a day I will be in ATL on the final day to see it pull into Hangar 2.

Why was this flight done? Was there a special occasion or just done for no reason? Kind of had me confused a bit. Non the less, thanks for the report. Always a pleasure to read about peoples adventures.
