As TG retired their MD-11s last month, well to make a bid farewell, I've made this intensive review, which you can go and have a look at the link below.
The flight was Bangkok-Hong Kong Royal First Class, with pictures of TG First Class Lounge, seats and food etc.

Oh boy, here we go again....
Did you manage to fulfill MajorNelson's request for this one?
'In fact, I have a few requests for his next report:
- the inside of the seat pocket (if possible, one each from First, Business
and Economy classes) for comparison purposes
- a photographic study of the complexion of the purser or another of
the higher ranking members of the cabin crew (preferably with closeups of
skin pores both her nose and forehead areas)
- an 'action' shot of the toilet in mid-flush, showing clearly the shade of blue
of the toilet chemical
- a closeup of a First Class toothpick .. after use this time
I hope this isn't too much to ask though!

Great report! Good detailed pics. TG's First Class service looks to be very nice, even on a relatively short trip. That's too bad that they have retired the MD-11. The 747-400 at BKK in the new livery, looks really nice.

OK, I've looked and I am a little disappointed - he didnt really show much of what I requested above... BUT .. he did give us a nice shot of the toilet (complete with floor underneath being wet - presumably from the toilet overflowing? eeeeuuuw!) in the lounge, the showerhead sprinkling it's water, closeups of the seat controls , 4 or 5 shots of Row 1, multiple fruit closeups .. though I'll admit I got a little nervous about advancing when I saw the pic of the lav door on board - - was hoping we werent gonna get a blow-by-blow chronicle of what happened in there. Thank god it was just a shot of the sink and garbage can door.
Pretty good overall - thought not as entertainingly weird as the last one.

Lots of photos... (I would have thrown my PC out the window if I had had 56k still) ... lots of photos! I like the orchid, thought the lounges looked excellent, and the food good.
Interesting report.
I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!

Quoting Boeingfanyyz (Reply 6): Did people kinda look at you weird when you took a camera to the toilet...?
There's a straightjacket waiting for him in one of those airplane closets (whose knob and hinges will no doubt be photographed from all different angles as well).

I had the same question last time when we had the 150 photo trip report, and then checked the camera equipment. It's a Sony DSC-M1...very portable.

Ah, thanks mate. Would have looked pretty funny taking a tripod with zoom lens into a lavatory!!!
