I just finished a ORD-LAS vacation with TED as my airline of choice.
Keep in mind that I can fly out of MKE. I live 45 miles north of MKE but bypass "The Best Care in the Air" to fly UAL.
You always here about piss poor attitudes of F/A's and gate agents.
Well To the crews of my flights and especially flight 1444 on Apr 18 here is a heart felt "THANK YOU".
The crew was the most professional and courteous group I have ever had the pleasure of flying with.
The F/A's took extra time to chat with my 9 y/o son and I even had a nice chat with 2 of the attendants.
The IFE was a full length movie plus the awesome channel 9.
We left on time and arrived early.
My bags were on the carousel waiting for me in ORD in what seemed like less than 5 minutes.
The last time I flew TED I did have a F/A that was more interested in kissing his wife than taking care of the passengers and I ripped him up and down, so I feel that I needed to share what a wonderful time I had on both flights even if I lost my A** in Vegas.
Anyway as a Travel Agent I will use this experiance and share it with future clients. I beleive that is the best advertising that UAL can get is is from the passengers directly.
Congratulations to UAL for a job well done.
Hope to fly with you again in July.

I'm planing on going back to Vegas in August! I may go WN again but as I have tried AA and WN I thought I would give United/TED as try and then choose a preferred airline. I signed up for MP last year but havent logged any miles with UA yet. Plus for some reason I dont like the A319/20 but I love the 737-700/800

TSA The A320 was quiet, I was in row 23 and I am 5' 10" I could stretch my legs under the seat in front of me no problem.
They have in flight full length movies now not short programming like they used to and they have Channel 9 which is the best.
If you have any more questions feel free to email me.

I flew Ted about a year ago ORD-LAS-LAX. The one thing I noticed was that the flight attendants were great because they were not overworked at all. They have the four of them to do a beverage service and snack run. There was no food or first class passengers to worry about which makes it a pretty easy flight for them. The flight attendants are thus in pretty good moods and I have seen them just chatting with passengers for long periods of time. It shows that when you don't overwork people, they can produce a much better product. The fact that Ted flights have the highest number of flight attendants in economy per passenger of any domestic flight allows the service to be good. Normally an A320 will have just 3 flight attendants, and one is fully consumed in first class. That results in two flight attendants for all the economy passengers compared to four on a Ted flight (although there are a few more economy seats on a Ted A320). I'll happily fly Ted again if I will be going in economy.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

I would like to try Ted and UA once (most likely TED to ORD then mainline to MSP), but I'm waiting for the price to get a little closer to NW, US, or DL between PHX and MSP for that to happen! I admire UA lately and look forward to flying with them (including Ted) sometime in the future.
