My wife and I will be flying to Italy on Delta in November. We are flying on DL148 from NY to Rome and DL155 from Venice to NY. Anybody fly on these routes? I am excited because we have reserved two seats on the side of the 767 so we can be by ourselves, and the flight home is nonstop. Last time I flew NY-Venice we had a stop in Milan. Any thoughts on Delta's coach service across the Atlantic?

I flew Delta from NY to Milan, but that was probably 6 years ago. Things have probably changed, and hopefully for the better. The service wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything like the flight home on Virgin Atlantic from London. The food wasn't too good, but the flight wasn't too full, so I had two seats to myself. Nonetheless, we were ontime, and I suppose that in some cases uneventful is better than eventful. Enjoy your trip! BUON VIAGGIO!
