So I get to ABQ and check in with DL. There are 2 flights checking in for DL mine to CVG and Skywest to SLC. My gate will be B10 while OO to SLC has B8 as usual. Then it is spotting time. I watch an OO CR2 in DL connection colors land from SLC and taxy into B8 then I see a UAex CR2 land from either DEN/SFO/or LAX the usual WN stuff., an F9 Jetconnect CR7 land from DEN and that is about it. I then board my CVG bound MD-88 which is one of many with the new leather intierior. This new intireor gives our Mad-dog a more airy feeling then the ones in the past I have flown with the old cloth intearior. I am welcomed by our friendly purser Ray who is very nice. Then the two women in the back Suzan and Paula who were just AMAZING. They went the extra mile for everybody even in there current situation with pay-cuts and stuff like that. So during boarding I notice there is boarding music on the MD-88 I never noticed this before and I fly this aircraft quite often. We are finished boarding and the F/A's do there safety stuff. I notice until his last departure announcement Ray continuasly calls this flight"Delta 329 jet service to CVG and BOS". So we taxy to RWY 08 and climb over the dry New Mexico desert over my home town of Santa Fe which looks quite dry from 20,000 feet as it does from 8,000 feet when I fly a cessna in that area. So soon Paula comes thru with snacks and I have the sunchips which are good. Then Suzan comes thrue with drinks and I have Ginger ale. for about 10 minuits we flew parallel to a WN 737(couldnt tell the type.) so just as I go to the galley to ask for Water to hydrate me suzan is preparing a tray with H20 to come around with. I never had this on DL before. This crew definently went the extra mile. but as I go back Paula trys to bombard me with snacks in which I take some peanuts and Paula and I chat about the Cincinatti area and the Airline Industrie. One thing I like are DL's new uniforms. Definently classier than the old ones. So we decent into CVG and make a nice landing there and taxy to B13 which is right across from the shuttle to terminal C so i just take a walk across to the shuttle. I do notice how open and Airy terminal B is which is the DL mainline terminal here at CVG.
**Transfer at CVG**
So I take the shuttle to the C termnal and Drive behind 3 DL 763's I guess bound for CDG,FCO, and LGW. we then arrive at C which is Awful. It reminds me of a bus station not an airport concource. So I go to the C70-73(I think) waiting area where there are flights to CRW and CLT as well as mine to PHL which is C72. so mine is called so I go to my CRJ which today is the 200ER 50 seater version and I am welcomed by Alonna our F/A who is an African American with a cute face but a horrible hair do. and I take a seat in 1A.

We are late beause our plane was late from BHM but soon enough we make a fast push and Alonna does her safety stuff in which she has me hold the oxygen bag in place for her while she does the demo. As other CRJ's ive been on(OO(UAex,DLcon.)USex, and AF(brit-air) this is just as uncomfortable. we hold for quite awhile for landing traffic in which I see my last ever DL 732. we then takeoff into the sunset for PHL before making a 360 en-route. shortly after alonna makes the 10,000 foot announcement as well as her starting the service which for the first 20 minuits decides to read people magazine and then we hit some light chop in which she decides it is no longer safe to bring out the cart so 20 minuits before landing she comes thrue wth a tray with bottled water and peanuts. which is fine by me as I was planning on water in the first place. We then make the typical nose down decent of the CRJ and land on 27R. Terminal E is very dead. not one flight but ours. I go to claim my bag and guess where my bag was. MEM! so no big deal I just file a claim and it was delivered to me the next day.
So my trip comes to an end and I report to PHL.
So I check in and walk to the depressing E-terminal where there is a DL 752 for SLC an NW 9 from DTW for DTW and soon my plane arrives which is in Comairs 1997 scheme. Soon I board with my Turkey-Cease wrap from bassets in Terminal E as the only other option is BK and I dont really like them that much. I am welcomed by Brit our rather large but friendly African-American F/A. She just seemed a bit large to be in a cramped CRJ for 6-10 hours per day. This flight continues to MEM. Brit does her Safety stuff as we taxy very fast to 27L. These pilots seem rather neglectful as they dont rember to run the spoilers thrue a cycle but at least they remember the flaps. We then make a rather long T/O roll after a US A321 and climb very fast to FL280 when Brit shortly comes thrue eith a basket with peanuts, Biscoffs and crackers in which as I have Biscoffs which arent to good. then she does a drink cart which I have sprite in which brit gives me a half Cup not even half can. Were they on a soda shortage? then she disapears for the duration of the flight until decent to CVG in which we Zoom over Covington before touching down in to a hot and Hazy CVG. we then taxy to C32 and I take the bus to Terminal B.

So I go to B13 again and immidiatly board and I am welcomed by our purser Adry who smiles but this is my last smile of the evening the Two ladys in the back were less than friendly one with a wrinkled uniform and messed up hair. we takeoff and I have Water and Sun-chips and the rest is not worth mentoning just a landing in ABQ on RWY 08 and Taxy to B8. DL is moving their operation to A-East at PHL by year end. Also, PHL just started a long overdue $180M Upgrade of both Terminal D and E. Your attitude regarding the mis-directed luggage is to be commended.
