I would like to dedicate this post to any Thomsonfly crew on airliners for such a great service with the airline. I flew from London Luton to Palma on September 4th and returned September 18th after a 2 weeks amazing holiday in Mallorca, The flight was great, The flight time to Palma was 1hr 55min and i thought that was great but on top of that we landed 15 minutes earlier than that short scheduled duration which i thought great. The crew were friendly and gave a nice inflight service, I would recommend Thomsonfly for your next holiday abroad! On a side note arrival into Luton last night was pretty bumpy, What i found interesting was we were on final approach and i actually saw a glimpse of the runway out of my window! I didn't understand how i could see it, I'm not in the flight deck! lol, I think the weather was the answer to it, like i said it was bumpy.

The Thomsonfly service at Luton is undoubtedly the best they have the friendliest crew I've ever had the pleasure of flying with! Our landing in LTN was fantastic, but the departure from LPA was awful due to the oncoming storm!
Anyway... glad you had a great experience! They're the UK's best Charter and LC Airline so nice to hear good reports coming from other people too

I agree the thomsonfly service is very good if you fly on a thomsonfly aircraft with a thomsonfly crew, I recently went on holiday to Crete and upon checking in at LGW i was told that the aircraft had gone tech, as a consequence the flight had been delayed by 4 hours which eventually turned out to be 6 and we would not be flying with Thomsonfly but with Air Madrid.
I was very disappointed with the service we recieved on the Air Madrid flight, the cabin crews english was minimal to just cover the safety demonstration, there was absolutely no in-flight entertainment. Where as on a thomsonfly aircraft a film/tv programmes are shown, when served our thomsonfly meal it was as good as cold.
The return service back to LGW from HER was with thomsonfly themselves. There was absolutely no fault to be found with there service.
I was dissappointed with the choice of airline thomsonfly chose as a replacement service.

In my opinion thomsonfly are s*** compared to the days of 'royal service'- used to work for them and couldnt belive the change since the tui conversion..... really lost the customer service touch and ive flown recently with them from both birmingham and manchester and all crews were shocking... the only thing i do like is the new 757 interior (which may be across more of the fleet now im not sure) and the fab little 767-200's (always liked that a/c)

I think it was more a case of 'find any airline and get them off asap', would you rather have a 6 hour delay and no IFE and all that, or a 14 hour delay and a film? Hmmmn!

Personally, I loathed Britannia, I thought they were awful, granted, I only flew with them once, but it was horrible on both flights. Outbound was a MAN crew and they were dreadful, and the return was a CWL crew who were just as bad. The aircraft (B762's) were horrendous, put me off flying a 762 for the rest of my life, and I quite safely guaranteed Id never fly with them again until I could be sure they'd improved.... since TUI... they certainly have!
The new interior is across the whole fleet now.

Glad you enjoyed your ThomsonFly flights SpeedBird203. I flew with them this summer on the 762 and was very dissapointed in almost all respects, but this has something to do with the 8 abreast seating.
