This is my first trip report..so please be kind. I had to travel to Mexico City to attend my sisters Quincienera and when AeroCalifornia announced a promotional fare from Ciudad Obregon to Mexico City for 200.00 USD R/T including all taxes and fees I jumped at the opportunity. It beats Aeromexico $500.00 USD plus R/T or having to leave from Hermosillo.

AeroCalifornia (JR) flt # 641
Ciudad Obregon (CEN) 6:20a
Mexico City (MEX) 10:40a
Arrived at the airport at 5:30am to check in for the flight. They had a long line at the ticket counter with 3 agents working the flight. I was checked in by 6:05am and they still had a long line. This is AeroCalifornia only flight. So they either hurried or left some people behind. The flight was about 75% occupied. Flight departed on-time for our short 20 minute flight to Los Mochis. No in-flight service was provided on this short flight. Smooth landing in Los Mochis, about half the the passengers deplaned in Los Mochis to connect to the AeroCalifornia flight to Guadalajara. We picked up local passengers and departed after 25 minutes. The flight was packed from Los Mochis to Mexico City.
In-flight service consisted of refreshments, juices and coffee. No cookies or peanuts. Flying time from Los Mochis to Mexico City was about 2 hours. Experienced the usual turbulence one experiences flying into Mexico City. Pilot landed smoothly and we parked at a remote stand.
Luggage was waiting at baggage claim when I arrived. Overall this flight was good. Had to run to the Central del Norte (North bus terminal) to catch ETN to Guanajuato. Made it on time for the 12:45pm, 5 hour bus ride to Guanajuato. ETN is very good bus line. The seats lie flat.

Mexico City (MEX) 8:20p
Ciudad Obregón (CEN) 10:20p
Again I took ETN at 12:00n from Guanajuato to Mexico City North Bus Terminal. Arrived on time and took a cab to the airport.
AeroCalifornia had a long check in line with 8 agents working the line. One hour and 30 minutes later I was checked in for the flight. I walked around the airport and went to the gates that service the parking stands from which the flight would be departing from. About 20 minutes prior to departure the agent made an announcement saying there would be a 20 minute delay. Sure enough 20 minutes later and they announced another 20 minute delay. We finally boarded our bus that would take us to our jet. The pilot announced that he needed a new take off slot from Mexico City tower and that their would be a delay. We took off 1 hour and 20 minutes late. The flight was full. Again only refreshments were served. Smooth landing in Los Mochis. Again half of the passengers deplaned and about 20 -- 25 passengers boarded in Los Mochis. 20 minute turn in Los Mochis and we were off for the short 20 minute hop to Ciudad Obregon. Again no beverage service on this short leg. Smooth landing and baggage arrived quickly and I was off to my home.
Overall I found AeroCalifornia to be good. The price was exceptionally good and the airplanes were good. I would not hesitate to fly them again.
