I have a trip to Greece in two weeks starting in Atlanta. I had been told by the travel agent that it would be on Delta through New York but I found out that I fly non-stop from Atlanta to Zurich on a Swissair A330-200 and then from Zurich to Athens on a Swissair A321. Coming back will be the same aircraft. I'll be in economy for all of the flights. What should I expect? Is there reasonable space and good service? What is the entertainment like? I was also wondering about the seat assignments. I was looking at my tickets today to Zurich. There are five people including me going on this trip. Four of the seats are 34 FGJK. Where in the plane is that and where in the row is that. An Airbus A330 is a 2-4-2 layout in economy and the letter K comes farther than eighth in the alphabet, so I am not sure where those seats will be. Does anyone know? Expect a full trip report when I get back.

Thanks so far for the info. I did check the Swissair website and the A321s do have leather seats in the whole aircraft. There were no seating charts though, so thanks a lot for the info about the seating.

Hi, Im going from London - Geneva in a few weeks on Swissair as well and I have done a bit of reaserch. Im not sure about your long haul flight but your short haul will be a good aircraft with a 3-3 seating (except in first class where its 2-2) They are leather seats - if you search on the front page of this web site Swissair A321 then scroll through the photos you will find some pictures of the inside of the aircraft. Have a great trip and I look forward to hearing all about it when you get back.

I also think you made a good choice. I think Swissair is much better than Delta. Swissair improved their service a lot for the summer timetable, this means better and more food for passengers and bigger choice. Hope you will enjoy your flights with Swissair.
By the way, Swissair's Business Class seating configuration on their Airbus A319/320 and A321 is 2 and 3 not 2/2.
Cheers
Mike

Actually, I didn't pick to fly on Swissair. The travel agent booking the trip did, but I am still really happy about it. I have heard so many good things about Swissair and I can't wait. I'll give a trip report about it when I get back.
