This past fall I've taken the opportunity to visit my fiancee Denise out on Vancouver Island. Luckily SLC has a direct DL flight to YVR, a trip that typically takes about 2-2.25 hours depending upon the winds. This is followed by the usual trip through Canadian Customs at YVR and then to the Hertz rental counter out in the parking structure and then down to catch the Ferry for the two hour voyage across the Straits of Georgia to Nanaimo, Rather than posting pic's directly into the body of the discussion, I'm submitting a couple of webshots links. My webshots user-name is the same one I use for airliners.net; SLCUT2777, my home city and state and house number, LOL!
I met Denise through another friend from the "Great White North."
Here are the links, the first being the flights, and the second being some from the ferry ride and some Vancouver Island scenic's:
Let me know what ya'll think!
