They just stated on the tower atc that the 380 will be out today but back a couple times tomorrow...Captain says he wanted to close the door at 1100 local.

Correct me if im wrong, but arent they using this call sign because the bird requires 10mi seperation?

I was just going off of what a pilot on flightinfo.com was saying from yesterday when he was coming into JFK. He was complaining about the 10mi seperation ATC was giving it. Was he exaggerating?

I saw that also it seems to be an error, there saying on JFK ground that hes starting up in 5 mins.
