Instead of popular election of the mods as Captoveur suggests, I think we need an electoral college. Each region gets a vote commensurate with it's population. This will keep the tyranny of the European minority from silencing the speech of the American majority.

I agree. I'm a member. I used to have a Crown Room membership but many of the cities I fly to domestically didn't have a crown room.

Good value for the money. The only draw back is that you have to separately pay for your guest - which are usually free if you join a specific airline club.
