Maybe some insurance related issue. The longest "Moscow-exclusive" A380 is A6-EER, flying this route for 2 years already. Other frames are A6-EDM (added since last November or December), A6-EDQ and A6-EUM (now disputable, but as we have seen, it seems like its allowance hasn't been remove...

Re: Virgin Atlantic News and Discussion - 2024

It therefore ends up with network load factors in the mid 70s which isn't enough. They either need a means of filling more of their existing capacity, or to cut capacity. Selling off the entire 787 fleet and replacing them with A321XLRs, then leaving the A330NEOs and A350s in place, might give the ...

I’m still scratching my head over the return to DXB given how much capacity EK provides for London and rest of UK combined with BA’s own offerings. With regard to MAN ops, people mention the seasonable nature, or insufficient demand on some routes to justify VS expansion there. I do wonder whether VS have looked at the A321XLR as a possible solution for MAN to help expand business outside of their LHR hub. If they did this, you would expect the...

Odd looking flight for British airways to TLV today. Looks like the flight (A35K G-XBWF as usual) left an hour late, got all the way to Israeli airspace and as low as 8,000 feet on its approach then turn around and looks like it's heading back to London. ba.com shows flight has been delayed to 20:00...

Interestingly, BA has never flown the A380 to Australia either. Only LHR-SIN terminators got the A380, LHR-SIN-SYD was a mix of 70/86J 744s, 77Ws and I think 789s. Not even 86J 744. It was LHR-BKK-SYD on 744 and LHR-SIN-SYD on 772ER. When they pulled out of BKK-SYD tag they switched SIN-SYD tag to ...

Many automakers have their 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 electric cars out. Wait until 5.0. If you wait that long then the planet suffers as does your wallet - costs of ownership on EV's are already lower than tat for ICE. I own a Model 3 LR, best car have ever had by a long shot..... no going back to ICE for me.

With the ME3 loosing interest in the 777-8, there is an opportunity for Boeing to optimize its configuration to best suite QF needs for the Sunrise project.
