Thanks for sharing, looks a solid offering. I need to get onto the 748 at some point, that wing is beautiful.
Jump to postLove it! Looks great fun, thanks for sharing.
Jump to postYes, the MAN-JFK service operates in 2008, often with G-BNWH, though I think that photo is dated 2005.
Jump to postGreat report on an interesting routing, thanks for sharing.
Jump to postNice report, thanks for sharing. I like KLM as a brand and the fact they still fly the 747 is a bonus.
Jump to postI've been a member here for 13 years and these days pop in sporadically. I'm surprised that, in 2016, a website can show such a lack of thought. It lacks intuition, the ads are horrible and I find myself using the site less and less as it's just such a mess on the screen! I know it's being updated r...
Jump to postOften wondered this myself. The Comair livery is definitely distinct and I would be surprised if BA weren't aware.
Jump to postWow, that does look amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Jump to postI do think that we will see quite possibly the most interesting period of change in short haul operations in the next 5-10 years, quite how is anyone's guess. I would predict that connections between the low cost operators and the full service airlines are somewhat inevitable and would benefit both ...
Jump to postThanks for sharing, this doesn't look too bad at all and pretty reasonable for the price! I've always avoided TS for trans-atlantic but their Club product doesn't look too shabby.
Jump to postI wondered about new, quieter aircraft, when I was flying on the 777 the other day. No matter what class you fly noise can be an issue trying to sleep (ear plugs help); I'd rather have a noiser aircraft and not have to hear everyone around me, but then again I'm a light sleeper.
Jump to postInteresting report, thanks for sharing, a real insight into this product for sure. Despite the seat area looking spacious many things, be it the fittings or the linens, or the glassware (or lack of) just lack refinement and, dare I say it, class. It just doesn't look very premium. Perhaps it feels a...
Jump to postThere's good and bad crews no matter what airline, contract, age, sex, etc. To make such broad and vastly assumptive statements is totally ridiculous. Any regular flyer will know consistency is a major problem with crews at many airlines and it often has nothing to do with the above.
Jump to postThanks for sharing, I have a real soft spot for Club Europe. I think it's a great product and fulfills intention, mind you I've always avoided the seats on the newer Airbus!
Jump to postNothing particularly inspiring, but then I don't think anyone expected it. The industry is a markedly different place even when compared to when the 380 first came out. I do think it's a shame that BA aren't any longer the market leaders in product, it woul...
Jump to postWow, an incredible report! This really is a huge shift for AA, it looks impressive!
Jump to postThanks for sharing. Is that the new BA catering being trialled at the moment? Looks a bit sparse, but no surprises there, BA are one of a dying breed to still serve a full tray down the back. I hope that doesn't be...
Jump to postThanks for sharing this report, what a great deal; I find it strange to look at BA 737s without their typical black ring on the nose now!

Thanks for sharing, I would love to do this trip. I travelled a fair bit with AC this past summer and was very impressed with them. Great pictures too.

Thanks for the report, looks near identical to my AC longhauls a few weeks back; I really enjoyed their service.

Thanks for sharing, I have such a fondness for that BACW seat and find it absolutely brilliant for sleeping. I still cannot believe what they serve for breakfast in Club these days, but then this isn't the 2000s anymore...
Jump to postWhat a lovely writing style, your personality really shines through your words. I have always wanted to sample KLM and the MD-11, and hopefully will do so before too long.

Nice report, things are really advancing! I don't know why they fail to offer even a token chocolate on those trays, it's my only gripe on shorter CE sectors, I thought they used to.
Jump to postThis thread has to have some of the most ridiculous, sweeping statements of any I've read in a long time and I've been here quite a few years! The problem with the 744s is that they are configured in a premium heavy layout, and the majority of the <acronym title="London - Gatwick (LGW / EGKK), Unite...
Jump to postA great read, thanks for sharing; SQ look excellent, as per every other report on them I have read, I would like to try them one day.
Jump to postI assume G-ZZZA/B/C will be undergoing the refit along with the other GMIS birds?
Jump to postG-MIDX is apparently back, though nothing anywhere confirms in what livery.
Jump to postI am unsure as to whether the current NCW is outdated, I think it still has a good couple of years in it yet. The problem is the catering. While wines have seen an uplift, the standard and quality of the food has (though never great), drastically worsened. The 'fruit in a plastic pot with a luke war...
Jump to postIt will be interesting to see if the BMI a/c emerge with the crest, as they're subtracted out and Airbus, I'm guessing not, for the time being at least.
Jump to postI have always avoided flybe because they're more expensive than other options that offer a better quality product. These changes seem to be yield driven, but complimentary snacks and drinks thrown in on all fare classes would have made the world of difference for their business potential, after all ...

Jump to postThanks for the report. I have yet to try the -300ER, but I had the pleasure of the new suite on a -200ER a few months back and enjoyed the product very much.
