I had this happen once, and IIRC, the website compensation offer was for 25 or 50 Aeroplan miles (?)

... and with the value of Aeroplan miles at 3 cents, the value of your compensation works out to $1.50 - lol!

Stayed at the Flamingo a while back - great location, and Mon.-Tues.-Wed. were a lot cheaper (half the price) of Fri.-Sat.-Sun. Great loaction, too, across from Caesar's and the Bellagio.
