I've read some of the rules around this, and it's not as simple if it's your first passport. You have to mail in the certificate of citizenship as proof and it takes longer than usual, so I don't know if the emergency passport will be an option. There is a stamp you can get on your foreign passport...

Here's my point of view as a cop. I do not look at this as terrorism, however, I am concerned about the huge increase in cops being shot and killed this year. 46 so far, an increase of 53% over last year, while the overall number of cops killed has increased by "only" 10% (114 so far).
