Icahn's group is the third largest shareholder. Blackrock holds ~18% and Vanguard holds ~11%. Dimensional Fund owns ~4%. 9.9% is a lot, but not when Blackrock and Vanguard hold a combined ~30%. He'll have one of 11 seats on the board. Calm down.

Well for starters, JQ is not a Kiwi carrier, so does not the rights to fly ex-NZ to Fiji, Samoa, etc. Realistically, you're looking at RAR only for them, which they can already channel traffic via AKL to.
