Great looking camera for landscape, fashion and fine art photographers! An impressive move by Canon but overkill for a lot of applications. Will be interested to see some of tech trickle down to the next gen version of cameras.

If you can find a second hand lens you can generally buy it and use it for a short while and it will hold a good amount of it's value. It's a good way to try lenses to see if they meet your requirements for a small net loss overall. Buying new will always lead to losing more money but if it's someth...

I just use a mix of dust blower and a visible dust sensor brush to keep my 5D2 and 5D3 clean. Do it once a month or so, just as a matter of housekeeping. Depending on how often the 100-400 gets put on the 5D3 does alter how often i clean it.

The only time i have photos come out OOF or not as sharp as i'd like is down to user error and not the camera, most of the current crop of cameras shouldn't and really don't lose focus easily. If they do then it's probably something the operator isn't doing quite right!

If these sort of results don't please you then i think you should reevaluate what you expect from a small camera like that.

That edit looks very good and beyond what i'd expect from the EPL1. I'd be pretty happy with that if it was my camera.
