EasyJet are getting rid of 1 in every 3 pilots.

They aren’t expanding into any TCX gap based on this figures. Theyre going back to 2015 (or even earlier) capacity levels.

I’ve read in a few places that it’s the crew people choose BA for.

It really isn’t. The high frequency comprehensive route network, the monopoly at Heathrow and the airlines loyalty scheme are higher scorers on CSQs as the reason for choosing BA

While all these things might be opening, uk citizens (and European citizens) cannot even enter the united states at the moment, and while the foreign office continue to recommend no travel, it sounds like BAs plans are just their current guess.

I’d say going forward, Virgin won’t send any aircraft to MCO, let alone an A330 or a return of a 747. It’s too late to start summer flights now, and no one with a brain launches transatlantic in the winter.

BA would only launch flights to make money and not look good.
