There are SO many rental car lots, so from whichever lot you rent from, ask for directions to Lincoln Parkway and Sepulveda Blvd. It's not really a maze, but since there are so many locations, this might be the smartest thing to do.

Crimson, if you're European, you'll know how to deal with a NYC winter. It could be clear as a bell, or it could be the middle of a blizzard. It's a gamble, but the tourist crowds will not be anything NEAR what you find in the summer. As for going in spring, this is thunderstorm season in the midwes...
