I'm curious which airports provide scheduled ramp tours for the public. Believe Zurich airport did or does tours of the ramp and you get to see the active runway in close up. Some airports in out of the way places like Sjarjah can provide ramp passes apparently.

Always wondered about whether flight crews receive additional pay since they are far more likely to become injured than passangers, not having to be seated during mild occurences of turbulence. Would you get paid a premium for this? Are there any specific rules for this?

Just wondering how it's possible for an aging Boeing 707 (YA-GAF) to be parked at EBOS airport for 7 years now without being sold or scrapped while much newer aircraft such B 762, A300, etc. are meeting their final fate. Is somebody paying the parking fees?

Can you recall any post 1930's aircraft that are totally extinct, meaning not a single example exists any more, either in museums, scrap yards, etc. The ones I could come up with are:
