I believe a majority (51%?) of MAT is owned by JAT, it's pretty much their subsidiary in Macedonia, as I understand it. So any big decision like that would involve JAT, and Airbuses aren't on their radar screen. I think this is the case, please correct me if I'm wrong. Is MAT a separate company?

They should have painted the engines red, it would take some of the edge off the otherwise bland and ridicilous livery. However, my final verdict will come down once I see a photo of an actual aircraft painted in the new livery.

I don't know how it works, but a lot of airlines have their own catering. For example, I know JAT has its own catering and its own food factory where it prepares the food for its flights. They own their own dishes etc. I'm sure when airlines order napkins, dishes etc... they can have the manufacture...

I was watching B92 news on the net and they were showing footage of his visit to Banja Luka. He did indeed fly Alitalia, although I can't confirm the aircraft (they didn't really show it up close) although it could very well be a 767.
