While wintery conditions are not uncommon, there is a major blizzard in this area. Up here in OSL public transit is a mess, people asked not to drive, and the airport is running with considerable delays. I'm assuming it's the same storm system down in GOT which isn't far away.

Worth noting that BEG is connected to SVO with often times more than one daily. For pax heading to/from Russia, Air Serbia is a great option from JFK and soon ORD. Provides an alternative to TK, EK and QR.

Wizz has been doing this for a long time, there is a charge for a trolley bag that goes in the overhead. Otherwise, it's you and your backpack under the seat in front. Works well actually. Just took a quick trip north to Tromsø from Oslo and it's great to have the option of a backpack for the weekend.
