After looking at the picture I noticed three things..

1.) The word "Icelandair" is omitted from the tail.
2.) The Blue hue seems to be a bit lighter.
3.) The yellow logo is omitted from the winglets.

From what I can see, perhaps this is a revised livery?

I wouldn't put too much stock into the colors of the rudder. The first plane that made its debut in the new WN livery, sported a rudder painted in the old colors.

Boeing A/C typically have a plate on the upper right or middle of the L1 door jamb.. Unless you have access to that, google is your best bet.

I’d look for repaints to resume early 2018. As far as Scimitars go, my biggest guess is that any of the 2005+ birds will get them. N700 isn’t going to be one of them.

Although we don’t have any set routes for it, most of them seem to be doing the “long haul” routes. Like any other new a/c there have been some teething issues with it as well, and they’ve been subbed out for a 738.

WN typically retires its aircraft once it turns 25. With this being said, the early 2020s should start the retirement process for the -700s. The -800s are all under 10 years old, they won't be going anywhere for a while. I'd imagine the last -800 (NG NOT MAX) should be in the 858* tail number range.

Why would DL want to come back to ISP and operate out of the same hole in the wall they did 15 years ago? If they wanted to come back, they would have brokered a deal with Southwest to use one of its gates... They haven’t.. The only Delta metal you’ll ever see at ISP is a charter or a diversion.. D...

Flap canoe paint was what signified the different plane types with the "Spirit" colors. With the current livery, there's a "300, 700, 800, MAX8" right past the nose cone. This is the same spot where UA and DL put their fleet types as well. As far as engine paint, WN has been pain...

I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the -300s make their way onto new homes.. The N6** birds, particularly the newer ones are prime candidates for 2nd-3rd tier carriers and freighters.

There are many routes in the WN system that are a bit more than 5hours, and people survive. Hawaii wouldn't be any different. From what I understand the 737MAX Isn't ETOPS certified yet. Perhaps WN will play a role in making that happen?

Why are people complaining? AA at least kept it around, and in bare metal too! They could have just as easily repainted both planes in the MURICA livery and called it a day.. On center, off center, no matter what it stands out at any airport.

The -300s can be found anywhere throughout the system. As for the 3 gold -700s, there are only two left now. 792 was repainted in December.
