Lots of jumping around the North Sea in H175s so far. Later in February I'm flying DAT from Esbjerg to Stavanger. I've booked tickets in May for the Indy 500 with BA and AA. New aircraft for me will be the EMB-140 and EMB-145. And first time in ORD and IND. I'm also going to Belfast in April, but no...

Re: Rodents (mice, rat, cockroaches) handling on an aircraft

I worked for a scandinavian airline that had wetleased an aircraft to a west african airline. It went without a hitch for the 6 months the contract lasted. However on the first leg of the flight home the FO spots a rather large spider in the cockpit and they decide to return. The aircraft was fumiga...

There's also not a Four Seasons in Hamburg. I've never tried it myself but I can't imagine it's easy getting a room at a hotel that doesn't exist. Yes there is Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g187331-d194643-Reviews-Fairmont_Hotel_Vier_Jahreszeiten-Hamburg....

I've always liked the euro notes. Very colorful and the style each one has in terms of architecture is very well done. All the Euro notes have bridges on them. Here's the bridge from the 10 euro note :) That is what you may call a coincidence. The bridge is similar, but it's not the exact design (s...

Need to wear coveralls all your round inside. Can get quite hot in the summer. Plus side is that we have a thin fabric version and nobody can see what you aren't wearing underneath it so it isn't too bad. In the office there is no rules.

The airlines can't have it both ways. If a person needs to buy two seats because he is large they can't come back and take it away if they overbook.
What would Spirit have done if somebodu had booked a seat for her/his cello? Put it in the cargo hold?

it must have been individual turbine blades exiting the tail pipe. You won't have a complete turbine disk exit the aircraft without a large hole in the cowling. The individual blades can be very small, eg. 1"x½"
