Fairchild Metros are able Flaps 0. Usually SOP have them set 1/4 (9 degrees) for takeoff though.
I think the Metro 23 is standard flaps 1/4 takeoff...

Long sectors can be a bad thing from time to time in the Metro I think. Some of our routes will run you 3 to 3.5 hours. That can get a little agonizing though. Please post your future trip report. I absolutely love hearing about the Metro, especially the ways of other operators! I do agree with you ...
Jump to postIm glad to hear your praise of the Metro. I am an FO on the Metro and I rarely have anyone even give a neutral response. Its primarily only gripes and complaints.
Thanks for the great report!
Happy Traveling.

I have a feeling that with the glass equipment that you have now you wouldn't have much of a need for new lenses. I just received my 40D three days ago. I upgraded from a 350D and I already know that I'll like it. But in retrospect I would rather have a 100-400L with my 350D then my current situatio...
Jump to postI haven't had a photo accepted for longer than I can remember. I have been wondering (without starting a pi$$ing match) if the number of shots ALREADY added to the database helps with the acceptance process. It seems that many photos "sneak" by with questionable quality as so long as the photographe...
Jump to postI was under the impression that the ATR family got around the problem of an APU by allowing the right propeller to be disengaged on the ground and allow just the turbine run allowing power.....Anyone else confirm or deny this?
Seems like an interesting way of tackling the problem...
I would recommend the Sennheiser 25 Series... I have the KAS version and have used it for a thousand hours in piston singles and twins and about 2000hours in the Metroliner. <a href="http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/category.asp?transid=cat91c" target=_blank>http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/...

I am getting fairly tired of all of that.....
