As mentioned, literally most SE Asia to Europe flights are red-eyes, leaving around midnight local time, arriving between 5 and 7am in Europe. 12hr flights, multiple time zones.

Europe - North America also exists, for example LH's MUC-MEX which is overnight.

I have been using the Canon 11-24mm L for two months or so now.
It comes at a premium price, but quality is ridiculously good, and there's almost no distortion.

Most of the A340s are going to be phased-out starting next winter though, and will be replaced by new B777-300s. That's probably why the cabin isn't upgraded anymore.

Once again, just for the sake of your own protection. If you modify an airliner, such as with the camera, it renders it un-airworthy if the appliance is not certified. Don't do it, regardless of what the engineers say. It needs to be approved, especially in a commercial operation. The mounting part ...

I'd definitely stay with the observation deck for the limited time you have. There's food and drinks available, shelter during rain (or sun), and departures of heavy aircraft on rwy 16 (the one passing by the obs deck at terminal B) will be plenty from mid-morning until around 2pm.

Check out Tamon Takeoka's <acronym title="Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX), USA - California">LAX</acronym> a2a shots on another of these database sites - it's the one with about 120 photog's that sells the photos aswell. That's correct Karl. You still can not fix an out of focus photograph. What that plug-in does is (and I'm still curious to see how successfully on an aviation photograph) try to fix motion blur. Me thinks Javi had one of these gadgets for years....  <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviati...
