More de-valuing of the product for Platinum. I expect a new full-scale elite level above Diamond soon to further diminish the overall program value (i.e. "cost") for frequent fliers. Given how well they've de-valued their miles and using them over the years, this was the next logical step...

The area where DL really has UA and AA beat is that DL-KLM transfer in AMS are a breeze. AA-BA, UA-LH, and DL-AF connections are notoriously bad but AA-BA is a bit worse than the other two mainly because of actually having to physically change terminals. They want cheap, yes. They also want it to be reliable and safe and they want to be treated fairly when things go wrong. I'd bet that if there were a $5 optional charge for "don't strand me on the plane for hours, don't lose my luggage, and get me promptly to my destination if stuff goes wrong...

-DL has been flying around those ridiculous tiny lavs for over 5 years now! Just curious, which planes? Cause I'm PM with em and I have yet to see any lavs on their planes that are as small as what AA has on the MAX's...but maybe I've missed the particular fleet type or particular lav on that plane.

OKC is donezo with the MD's before the end of June...just looked now and my original final leg of YYZ-DFW-OKC on 30 June was supposed to be a MD, now it's a 319...looked at AA's website and all flights that day from OKC to DFW are 319's, 738's, or E75's.
