I actually think this is dumb. Especially on night flights. I want sleep, now my subpar economy meal is going to take twice as long to serve because they want to do multiple trips down the aisle to create a “restaurant” vibe. Now I got stuff sitting on my table tray for twice as long. Please! The 2n...
Jump to postHow does row 42 have more legroom than E+?
Jump to postI'm flying ewr to phx. I got assigned 20d since my preference is set to aisle and its the last aisle in E+. I haven't flown yet on a A319. What would be your opinion. Do you think I would be more comfortable on almost 5 hour flight in aisle non recline exit or recline window in E+ further up. Does 2...
Jump to postJust looked online. When you go to book it's only showing coach open for sale and when you go to to select seats you can chose a business seat as a main cabin select seat.
Jump to postHere’s a report of flying United BusinessFirst from Newark to Amsterdam on a 2 class 767-300 and returning from Paris on a 757-200. I arrived for my 5:40pm departure at around 2:45 to prepare to any lines or waits. I was in luck as that wasn’t the case and I was able to do curbside to lounge in less...

Jump to postIf HA every wanted to fly to Europe, IMO they would have to get a flat bed on those aircraft's for F. Jump to postI remember flying this route as a kid with the A300. My first wide body ride
Jump to postWhy did you have to pay to check bags if your flight was continuing on internationally? From my experience, it's free when you continue on to an international destination. I've even done that with different airlines (US PHX-LAX, QF LAX-SYD) and not get charged.
Jump to postFlying someone out one-way from PHL to PHX. Both US and Southwest list the same price. Anyone have any ideas on which one they would choose.
Jump to postI agree. I felt QF's Y is one of the most comfortable Y seats out there. When I flew, I thought the mesh knit thing in the bottom for your feet helped a lot. They lift them a little and make it feel more like recline to relax better.
Jump to postThose PTV's look like the old style and not the modern ones in Y or the in the prototype of the premium seat. Is it just this aircraft or does Y have a different, bigger, wider screen?
Jump to postI think its so dumb that BA charges to select seats in premium classes
Jump to postNot to change the subject, I would save my miles and fly Hawaiian Airlines, both cabins are better than US and fly non-stop from PHX
Jump to postNice report, but that F class service is the lamest excuse I've ever seen for F service.
Jump to postExcellent report. I really wanna try Singapore Airlines someday. I also like the pic of the 5-abreast overhead console.
Jump to postI think CO is better in my opinion. Jump to post"I don’t like 3-3-3. Increased chance of a middle seat does not make me happy! Ever!"
Even in the 2-5-2 config, you still have three middle seats in the 5 section. With 3 middle seats in the 3-3-3 config.
Nice trip report. AA seems to give nice catering service for a dinner mid-range domestic flight. I def would have upgraded too. Is there a specific reason you chose the very last row of business when there were seats closer up front away from Y?

Jump to postDoes anyone know if the first row on the single side has windows. The exit row is row 12, but the exit row door is window 10, I don't wanna sit in a seat without a window. Any experiences with the first row of Expressjet, mainly CO.
Jump to postThere is a full window. The recline may seem limited depdeing how tall you are. The good thing is that its two seats not three if you are a couple or can stretch your legs out and put luggage under the extra third aisle seat. Here is a video I found on youtube from the last row. The guy even says "I...

Jump to postExcellent reports. It seems they really went all out for this flight.
Jump to postIt's also Thanksgiving week, the busiest of the year. If they have empty seats in F, they are goona wait til last minute to give them up for last minute holiday travelers who will be forced to pay big or for overbookings.
Jump to postNice report. I was on a QF A380 this summer and loved it, but in the aisle. Can you lean against the wall in the window seats, it looks a little farther than usual.
Jump to postI now atleast CX has adapted to using the slider seats as opposed to reclining seats in the Y on the new configured aircrafts. Jump to postVery nice report. KLM's ptvs seem very nice and big. I like MH's food offerings and menu. Very appealing.
Jump to postHow was boarding on your flight back to LAX. When I flew that flight this summer, boarding was a mess. No announcements, no row or class order. Made boarding a 747, an hour long mess.
Jump to postDo you remember if the monitors in F with DirectTV are movilable. Can you tilt them when the seat reclines. I have seats in F coming up on the 739ER and was wondering if I should get row 1 so the monitor view isn't bad.
