Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

Thank you for all the great updates on the progress of the A320 refurbishments! I recently flew on 599JB (not refurbished), and while the IFE system was old, the plane was impressively clean! A quick question: I believe some people have said that 503JB has some differences than the other A320s in th...

Question on JetBlue Crews

Hello, Out of pure curiosity, I have two questions about JetBlue flight crews: 1) I know JetBlue has a lot of flights out of San Juan to islands in the Caribbean, but I believe they do not have a crew base in SJU. From where are the crews for those flights usually based? Florida or farther north? 2)...

A quick question: The 7xxJB and 8xxJB planes were delivered with the "refreshed" Airbus interior, including (I think) the newer overhead bins, LED lighting, etc.) which differed from the older 5- and 6-series. Are the overhead bins, etc. still being replaced as part of the phase 2 retrofit?

Thanks for the responses! The flight isn’t until this September (2019). It’s interesting because the Alaska website says the regular 739s do have the sky interior, but I guess it’s incorrect: https://www.alaskaair.com/content/travel-info/our-aircraft/737-900 With it being so far out, are you saying ...

Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

One other very subtle difference: I’ve found that on the Airbii with the “new/refreshed” interior, the chimes are on the softer side (like the 777s) and there’s a delay between when, for example, the seat belt sign is turned off and the corresponding “ding” is heard about 2-3 seconds later.
