The best I remember booking was DTW-LGW-DTW for a trip in February 2004 on Northwest flights 32 and 31, both on DC-10-30s The return ticket per person including tax was just over $200 USD, an amazing deal, even then!

I'll be taking a Delta A330-300 MSP-HNL in a few weeks -- Definitely booked based on equipment, I'm sure nobody on here has done that before I am honestly surprised we haven't seen an A380 in an all economy configuration plying Asian airspace on some domestic route.
