There are plenty of MD-8x rated pilots in Iran. Just sayin'

Looks to be heading for europe.
I think no way. I think Airbus will find a way to funnel them a few more A330s. That SP is over 40 years old. Ain’t gonna happen. Have to concur with Mr Jet..... Those SP’s are not gonna fly again. And as mentioned, there are enough Airbus making there way into Iran now..... easy enough to pick up ...Jump to post
The A321 appears to be waiting either for an marchall or a bridge operator to turn on the guidence system. In that case the A321 has gone to far into the stand, it should be holding on the taxiway before turning into the stand. Some members here gave good reasons for the A321 to stop but what this ...Jump to post
Norwegian cancels planned Milan (MXP) - Los Angeles (LAX) service, which was scheduled to commence on 16 June 2018. Twitter And the relation to Nordic aviation is...? I have to disagree with all this negativity regarding handling agencies. I don’t know what’s going on in other countries, but I’m employed by a handling company and get paid much better than most airline staff that are left at the airport. And I don’t understand why everyone thinks we’re temporaril...Jump to post

Mahan are just about to re-introduce their 743....!!! The only pax classic left flying. Back to the original topic.... When I wanted to fly some IL86’s a few years ago,( Donavia & AtlantSoyuz), the travel agent would only sell me the flights I wanted if I bought accommodation too.... so ended up...Jump to post

I check R-24 daily and the aircraft has not yet returned to service. Presume final repairs are still ongoing? Maybe it got dirty sitting on the ground so long at YYR and AF is still looking to find the expert technicians who can perform the 'washing' procedure? any delays will probably be due the e...Jump to post
Then you need to go back to school mate... That’s a 13x a week operation ... Each morning sees a rtn flight ...= 7 a week Each evening sees a return flight except one day, that = 6 a week... 7+ 6 = 13 rtn flights a week. QED. Calm down mate. For example routesonline.com report routes like this: LOT...Jump to post
Yes, 12 times per week. In addition WAW-CPH-WAW will be mostly served with Embraer 195s (instead of CRJ-900s of Nordica) 7 plus 6 makes in my books 13, but that is just me. The x at the end indicates that it operates on all days with the exception of that one. So 14-2=12... but that's just me. Then...Jump to post

An-124 bring out spare motor from U.K. Will BA send along MX team or use locals? What is the cost to charter the An-124 and send BA's MX team to JNB to fix this bird? The flight alone must be several hundred thousand dollars. If you charter the An-124 for a one-way flight, are you also charged to f...Jump to post

Aircraft transited via BDA, it was NOT non-stop. As for the 3 engine ferry on this 380, it was considered, but a fuel stop in western Africa was needed. BA did not have A380 experience or local knowledge of operating in that neck of the woods, so new motor is being shipped STN-XXX-JNB Also believe B...Jump to post
Due to higher drag from having to fly at lower altirudes with three engines, they had to land at MAN. That is not true. Go read the report. Over the UK they had sufficient fuel to go and land at LHR, but the fuel was not in the right tanks. The B744 has a complex manually controlled fuel system, an...Jump to post
Nor true. Saw the L1011's plenty of times in service at LHR. Hmmm. Thats interesting. So the L1011's did fly revenue ops for AI?
