While they already partner on inter-island flights, I would love to see HA join AA/AS in Oneworld. I believe there is some bad blood between them and QF, but if they could clear that up they would fitake nicely into OW'so Oceania lineup. I couldn't bear to see HA in skyteam.

Why BT? What advantages do they have over AY? They share the same geographic disadvantage as AY in regards to being an intra-EU hub paired with a small short-haul fleet.

Plenty of times on AA when they used the 762 on the LAX-JFK flights. This was around the time when transcon flights were super cheap and I was using them for MR's for status. I also experienced this on AA's ORD-FRA flights as well.

I don't understand any IAG attempt to buy OS. Wouldn't the better strategic option be to buy Condor then rejig their leisure orientated routes/destinations and have an actual presence in the heart of Germany. IAG had a chance with AB but blew it. It seems they want to repeat that mistake.

Not that important. Delta could essentially just replace all the USA-LHR with their flights and take the slots. Not much left of VS after that. What makes you think Branson (51% owner) would just let DL strip VS of its slot portfolio? Sorry but DL becomes a small player in LHR if VS collapses.
