Did they ever make another attempt to fly there or did the flights get cancelled and all of the passengers get rebooked. The flight did eventually operate, albeit 3 hrs late. My family member was going to miss their connection so they rebooked for early the next morning and came home for the night.

I had a family member at CLE to catch DL4136 to DTW tonight. The plane was originating in DTW then heading right back, and it got to Cleveland, but then did not actually land, and flew back to DTW. I don't quite understand the Breeze route-map. CAK, PIT and CMH to several of the same vacation destinations sounds like Vacation Express, or Vision Airlines to me. The rest looks like when ExpressJet went out on their own, but hey, Neelman has a proven track record so I'll wait and see what happens...

^^ Fun stuff. I remember TAG (which stood for Taxi Air Group btw) Airlines' Doves seemed like they were constantly in-n-out of BKL. Burke was a busy little airport back then.

I also recall that those TWA one-stop Europe 707's thru JFK stuck around for many years...into the 1980s.

Looks like CLE will have 2 jetBlue A320's RON starting in October. The flight from RSW arrives at 845pm and FLL arrives at 1205am. Flights leave the following morning at 7am for FLL and 8am for RSW.

That's pretty cool...I've never seen that. I spent 3 yrs working for Marriott-Host in the early 80s at CLE and that is exactly how I remember it. Looks it was filmed right when Braniff started service, Allegheny became USAir and North Central became Republic.

I flew it, more than once. I would always get back to S.Florida in the evening and have the long drive north to Tamarac where I lived at the time. Made for a very late night.

The Pan Am 727 originated at JFK and did JFK-CLE-CVG. It always did JFK-CLE, but at different times it would continue on from CLE to CVG or IND or MSP.
