While only hearsay, I’ve heard from someone ‘in the know’ that the IAH route seems to be doing well, and it sells well up front which is obviously important. As you state, SIN is very busy. Be nice if it went daily to start with.

I would say it's a long shot. Especially now DL has pulled out and handed the reins to VS. As mentioned above, any connecting pax can route through ATL or JFK. Even more so now with the upgauge in seating capacity on both routes.

Whilst cabin load is not indicative of yield and success/failure of a route, for what it's worth MT posts excellent load factors for their service. Don't know about Virgin unfortunately.

The thing is with MAN is the lack of space. The arrivals and departure halls are tiny, so space is at a premium. Passport control areas are so small that one A321 offload and the hall is full, hardly ideal. There aren't enough check in desks for the airlines they have as it is, so security I crammed...

It's a more quiet period this time of year so they may use this time to downgauge and do A380 maintenance. Loads are lower throughout May/June time. A few years back I remember the old A330's subbing in on many occasions whilst the A380's were under checks.

MT have two, GVYGK and GVYGM. As someone has already noted they mainly do the USA routes, GVYGK occasionally did GOI over winter but that was it.
