These incidents are daily occurences now. A plane hitting a bus isn't anywhere close to a daily occurrence. Heck, a plane hitting anything while in motion is monthly at best all carriers combined. I gather you haven't been reading any aviation news in past half year or so. No reason to downplay this.

The 777-8 is acutally a 777-200LR replacement, as it has significant more range than the 787-10.

Also, it acts as a direct competitor to the A350-900ULR.

As it seems, the new engines are too big for the 737 design. Boeing should consider making a quad out of it. Four small engines should fit easily underneath the wings.
Anyway, the 737 Max name is mud now.
Boeing should rename it to the 707 Max.
