It doesn't matter if you start a petition, the old site will not and can't be brought back I'm a little late to the party but John with all due respect . Telling us the old site cant be bought back is hard to handle it sort of takes the wind out of our sales so to speak. I for one was hoping that i...

RE: FlyDubai B738 Crashes On Approach In Russia Part 4

Just watched an episode of crash investigation. It was the northwest 747 400 rudder hard over incident. The rudder design on the 747 was what saved them as the rudder is 2 fold upper and lower rudder. This is a great design and suprised its not implemented on all aircraft. Not saying that this is th...

Can i throw a spanner into the works here and call the 737s integraty into question.
There is far too many incidents with the 737 due to rudder malfunctions and the like.
Im not saying this is what caused this crash but it sure boggles the mind.

First off Great shot.
I'm sure the reason behind the optical illusion is the tele photo lens (ZOOM) bringing the background a lot closer then it really is including the edge of the runway its the lens that is creating it.

The one that comes to my mind is an operational saying ¨Cleared at takeoff ¨ pilots could easily mistake it for cleared for takeoff as we saw with the KLM accident at tenerife.
What are some others

Because they can use numbers for variants and still give an aircraft a name but choose not too

i have noticed that aircraft look like they are constantly in a climb angle while they are in cruise.
Why is that
Does it have something to do with safety or loss of height.
Thanks in advance.
