I can't seem to find the #TPA2SFO Facebook page a portion of us conversed with TPA about routes.

Anyways, with NK doing LAS and LAX, I wonder what's next for West Coast.

Obviously, PDX is only a matter of time for AS, but OAK/SJC, secondary SFO, maybe SMF? 2nd carrier on SEA?

TPA has the benefit of being a tourist destination, much more so than say PHL or BWI. So TPA while low, IMO is underrated in terms of opportunity. Copa has been doing really well as of late and even during September during Irma, they basically only ones INTL'y to post positive gains. They have been up the upswing for a handful of months now. Would love to see F9 enter BTV. With NK and G4 in PBG, F9 really is only LLC option for BTV that would make sense, other than WN, but I don't see WN entering BTV just yet.

From their website, it looks like if Canada Jetlines is able to get off the ground next summer, they intend to fly to TPA. TPA's Director of Research and Route Development is meeting with Avianca in Barcelona this week and then after that flying to BOG on Avianca and meeting with them in BOG. Seems like this is the next fish TPA catches.

Will be interesting to see if Thomas Cook beats Avianca to the punch.

Another good question to pose; is how SX with alter or change their charter program, specifically the college football charters. Seems they use a good portion of their current fleet for charters, compared to other majors.

BTV seems like a potential spot. If they beat F9 into the region. NK/G4 serve PBG, but nothing out of BTV.

BTV - FL airports seems to fit this new model and any future F9 expansion as well.

Quickly thought about PIE, if WOW does SFB over MCO if Orlando at all, then case could be made for PIE.

I could see MCO down the line. I really don't see WOW going against Icelandair in TPA and to be honest, I don't think there is room for two in TPA to KEF. I would much prefer Icelandair's product and hopefully increase to 4x or 5x weekly than WOW coming in a making things a bit of a mess.
