When pricing out tickets for our last minute trip to Las Vegas, there was the nonstop PIT-LAS option, and then another option for the same price. That was PIT-FLL-BOS-MSP-LAX-LAS. lol. Oh Spirit....

It would be a surprise to me if MSY-PIT were permanently dropped. It had the highest LF of all of their MSY routes. Maybe they are just shuffling things around in the schedule. Did anyone notice the parking rates on that diagram? It seems everything has gone up in price since those times, except for airport parking prices! That is rather surprising... I mean, you can get an hour in short term for $1 (old times was $1.50 for 30 mins), and extended is like $8 now and was $6....

When USAir up and left, didn't they leave the facilities and logistics behind for an airline to swoop in and take over (offices, gates, hangars etc. etc.) Instead it seems KPIT turned into a ghost airport for a few years and the massive void has just been picked at by various airlines over the year...

I run media type websites and the only way to prevent these types of ads is to completely remove/switch advertising companies. There are many out there, so hopefully Airliners.net switches to another ad provider.

Aeroflot is a wonderful airline for long haul flights. The seats are comfortable, in-flight movie selection is good, and the food is nice by coach standards. If you have the means, upgrade to Comfort Class. It's a wonderful upgrade for a long flight.
