Just curious. . . as you take your pictures and make your notes, did you ever get resistance from the crew? I have some interesting flights coming up and would like to take lots of pictures. Does the crew frown or this, or then when you tell them what you are doing, give better service?

check out the Imperial Highway south of the airport. Take Sepulveda south, under the airport and then turn right. There's parking and even benches. It's a fairly distant long shot overview of the whole airport, and I've seen some pretty serious photographers camped out there.
