BKK on the whole is dire and depressing to be in. It's not even old! ICN was build 5 years earlier and is so my more pleasant.

Jump to postJust seen on the Air NZ travel alerts page that NZ won't be flying the HKG route from early next year. CX will fly twice daily, taking over flights with A350 through JAN and 77W through FEB and MAR, allowing NZ to free up capacity while dealing with the RR issues. https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/tr...

Jump to postFrom Campbelltown the train is the obvious choice and I saw it a lot when living there. As for Penrith/Blacktown, public transport would require you to go all the way to Central and transfer, definitely not ideal.
Jump to postWith the ridiculously low fares they charge I am not surprised. I found $420NZ AKL-PVG on CZ last year, available for a lot of dates.
Jump to postTime for legacy carriers to get their act together and start charging reasonable one way fares. If they had you wouldn't see the emergencenof the likes of Norwegian. I'm just curious to see what one should expect flying Qantas between New Zealand and Australia i.e Meals, plane type, entertainment etc?
Thanks in advance.
I LOVE KE! I have only flown in Y though, my only complaint is the lack of IFE on (some of?) the 772s, but apart from that service is good, food excellent, lots of free Korean Beer!
Excellent TR btw!
This looks amazing! One thing that has put me off flying to the US on holiday is the fact that i'd have to take painful domestic flights for 4+ hours on a cramped plane with unhappy FAs (Generalisation i know, but that's what it seems like reading other TRs!)
