RE: New AA Color Scheme Confirmed...painted - Part 3

I noticed the self service kiosks last week, thought I was at another airline at first, even though I'm Ex Plat. I like change and anything to shake up AA is good, as long as they survive.

RE: Business Class And Global Entry Program

If you fly international at least 4 times a year it is definitely worth it, if you don't check your bag. Otherwise, you get the printout, but have to wait for your bag to show up. Of course most airlines expedite first and business, but sometimes even we have to wait a while for the bags to come off...

There are a few in CLT on the ramp and I can see quite a few RJs over near the hangars, mostly US Airways, one Jet Blue, an AA E-145, etc.

RE: Why Won't The Peotone Airport Die?

There is another ghost airport in Illinois, Mid America (BLV) which costs our county millions each year in bond interest payments. I believe it cost about $78M to build about 10 years ago and has never had full time passenger service, just fits and starts. Allegiant Air is back with two round trips ...

The Air Force most certainly have White Tops, they are UH-1Ns out of Andrews, blue body, gold stripe, white top, upgraded UH-1s and they fly the river all the time and do DV runs between Pentagon, Bolling and Andrews. I've flown on one as an incentive. I'm a retired Lt Col with 8 years in the Pentag...

Sec State was actually riding fairly economically as there was no slide in DV cubicle which is palletized and loaded towards the front. It is a private suite for the "DV" aboard. In the 1980s the Military Airlift Commander (CINCMAC) had a C-141 with a special slide in which had nice seating, a confe...

I applaud them for having privacy from everyone else, less disturbance for the other passengers. I worked passport issues at a military base and the Embassy's "Consul" can issue a passport in just a few hours, even from scratch.
