Also the RAT's blades pitch vary to control the speed of the generator to prevent it from overspeeding. Due to this, it wouldn't measure airspeed well along with the icing problems should it experience icing condition.

Yes I have seen throttle spilt in a ERJ-145 before....a reset of both FADEC's fixed it. Only once it happened, haven't seen it again. On the other hand, I did see a ERJ-145 not able to go over 250 kts above 12,000 ft... engines throttle set to max and wouldn't go over 250 kts still. Mtx at that base...
