I feel pretty good about MKE over RFD. First of all MKE is rolling out the red carpet for any and all new flights - especially Europe which they've never had. I reckon about 1/3 of the time when I fly United I wind up sitting there waiting for a gate to open. Granted I'm flying at premium times but still I would gladly get out and rid a bus rather than sit there for 20-30 minutes twiddling my thumbs.
This all seems quite predictable. So... why not just shut down car access and open a dedicated shuttle bus lane that goes to some remote lot? And is also open to MTA busses.
